It’s the Thanksgiving long weekend and had a trip to Prince Edward Island (yay! my chance to visit Anne of Green Gables). And since I’ve never had lobster – as in served with its red cooked shell with it, yet – so this is also an opportunity for me to try it out! Hehehe.. yummy lobster here I come. *So thankful that I am not allergic to seafood!*
Browsing through the menu. Everyone was very hungry already after lunch was way back. I bet Adeline and Miles and Paul (of course) are famished too. Hmm, I was hungry too.. cos my energy was all used up as I was busy dozing away in the car. ;p The main dish that I wanted to taste rightaway must have something to do with LOBSTER. Still reading the menu..
Each of us were given a bread before our order was served. We were so hungry that we finished the bread in minutes! Hahaha. The bread was good. But what we are all waiting for was our order. Of course this is also a time for the 2 photographers to snap away happily while waiting for the food to arrive.
As we were waiting for the food to satiate our growling-louder-by-the-minute tummy, the waitress came over and showed this piece of plastic and mentioned that it is for those who ordered lobster as their choice of meal so that it helps to keep our clothings clean from all the lobster splatters later on. Looks like something for toddlers and babies. I thought Miles ordered lobster too, but I was wrong cos he ordered something else yummy. So, I was the only one at the table being treated like a kiddie waiting to be served their food.
Okay, stop laughing. This is how I look after being harassed helped by the enthusiastic waitress as she helped me wear this lobster cap. How old does she think I am?? Other customers are not even treated like that. I guess this is a specialty treatment,eh. Never mind, I told myself.. I got this cos I am cute and adorable and don’t I look extra adorable with it. Hahaha…
This is the poor lobster which would be my late lunch… muahahaha.. Muahahaha.. MUAHAHAHA!!!!
This is part of my order. Mussels. Very fresh. And they’re big! It’s really a lot and sharing it around makes the food taste so much better.
Also part of my order… potato salad. I’m still waiting for the main dish. Hehehe.
Muahahaha… and here it is. My lobster lunch. Can’t wait to dig in to it.
Adeline had some raw oysters. My, are they good! You could taste the sea water and they are so fresh that you don’t need to worry about tasting any bad oysters. Adeline was mentioning about remembering a scene from Mr. Bean where he ate some bad oysters… hahahha. Mr. Bean is so part of the life now.
Bi had halibut fish and chips. I like the fish. It was good. But, bi still prefers the fish and chips at Snooty Fox.
Miles’ scallop lunch. I’m am now typing this entry and looking back at these photos are making me drooling over these yummy food.
The lobster is guarding the dip. I don’t care what it does cos I held the ultimate tool to defeat it – the fork and knife! Muahahhaha…
The lobster did try to fight back by splattering the juices and some small pieces of its meat on me, but thanks to the plastic bag amour, I am save from its attack and began feasting on it. ATTACK!!!

Verdict: Everyone had a satisfying lunch, all coming out from the diner with their waist gotten bigger with another few centimetres extra. I won, lobster lost.
