I stumble across on this singer on Youtube. I was listening to her Honey Bee and Bitter Heart… I’ve got one word for it – great! It was a bit like Norah Jones, but I find hers more light and easy-going. That’s the kind of music that I could listen to for the whole day! Hehe… reminds me of Pink Martini. I love to listen to songs like that…and now I’m a fan of her in Facebook. You could listen to some of her featured songs in Zee Avi’s FB profile!

I hope that Melissa is getting some progress with hers too. I’m really looking forward to it as I have listened to one before I came to Fredericton. My, do I admire those people who has pure talent like that in them. It’s something innate I would say. For instance, some people could really sing so well! Like Shaheen Jafargholi in Britain’s Got Talent this year… and Susan Boyle… and Hollie Steel (if I got that little Eliza Dolittle correct)… No doubt some could really dance… the one I’m looking forward now is little Aiden Davis. His moves in the audition were so smooth! Wow, they really do have talents in them.

Zee Avi. The way her singing reminds me of her – Joan. :) She could sing like that.

all in a baby’s day

It’s not really a nice day to go out and about in town today though… it was kinda chilly (and I was hoping for the warm weather to be around here already!). The picture with the mom and baby… wow, they really make me wonder.Wouldn’t the baby feel cold outside? Shouldn’t she be inside the house rather than outside? Well, I guess this is the way Canadian lifestyles are. It’s so different from Sibu… back in my hometown, newborns are not allowed to be brought outside the house for at least a month. Some even till the extent of 3 months!

A baby’s job is to:

- drink mom’s milk.

- sleep.

- coo and be cute and make people’s heart around them melt… :)

- cry when hungry.

- sleep.

- cry when poops there’s poop.

- cry when the diaper’s too full to contain another potty time.

- sleep.

- look around with their eyes, both big and small, but adorable anyways…

- sleep.

- be the ultimate VIP (oh, yes… they can beat Mr. President’s uber-cautious protection – effortlessly!!). Hee….

Ain’t that the best job in the world?

Along our way to St Andrews, we also passed by Blacks Harbour. Took some photos. Here are the general view of the harbour:
