Just barely recovered from my nasty influenza and constant irritating cough for a couple of weeks (only!)… all of a sudden, I’m coughing real nasty in the middle of the night. Sheesh.. My throat itched so much that I secretly started to develop an internal urge to just pull out my trachea from my long thin scrawny neck. If we could just pull it out and see what’s making it itchy all the way inside and making us cough.. (cough* cough*), Cough, and COUGH! *Ugh* That’s very unpleasant. :(
Had been coughing throughout the night until my precious sleep had packed its stuffs and ran away from me. Even Mr. Sandman couldn’t do anything about it – especially when that itchy feeling starts to itch all their way up from the trachea to your already very dry mouth. *Cough* All that I wanted at that point of time is to just have a good night’s sleep minus the nasty itchy annoying dry cough. DIE you nasty coughs! DIE! … and give me back my sleep and don’t you dare to make me croak the next day!
Bi had to drag himself up from his groggy sleep and found this..

Well… after popping two coughgels into my body system… I managed to get some sleep after all. *Yawn…* (Of course that is after some time taking them, not straightaway… duh! Had to toss and turn for *cough* cough* for several minutes before it starts to relief me of my dry cough spell.) It lasted okay for me…I don’t really like to take it. Cause it leaves my mouth super dry the next morning… but I guess I can’t complain much, can I? At least it helps to suppress the nasty coughs….

Even the coughgels have the ” R ” on it. Don’t need to worry about getting mixed up with your other pills or supplements if it got mixed up.

Wow! WOW! This is definitely one of the best I’ve heard… hehehe. Good use of the classical piece, especially at the stresses of the tunes. And this woman (mummy!) rocks! Phew… see how she sings it? Fast-paced and so engrossed into it. That I’ll give it a 10-star rating (if it existed!). Look at the wordings she sang, so true eh? I guess all moms are the same when it comes to their children – managing and disciplining them. :)
I like how she screams into the microphone when she got to the part of being angry and shouting at the kids. Now that’s what I would say that paralinguistic expressions helped a whole lot to send the message over and also a very good use of speech intonations. :) English students would certainly agree with me here. Hmm… there are some part of the song that reflects mummy, too. hehehe. (I think I’m gonna get killed for admitting this part of her in this… kekeke.) But, this has got to be enjoyed just spend a little time on it. For some of you who are more comfortable with the thought of viewing it on youtube itself, here’s the link:

I suggest watching it together with your moms… let’s just enjoy the fun together – and remember the good ol’ times… :)

Bibi has some coins here and there in his room. It’s kind of irritating to see a coin here, a few coins there. It makes the table looks so disorganized and messy (and it is still very much in a mess – even without the coins!).

Back in Malaysia, all you need to do is just collect all the coins that you have and wanted to have them banked-in…
1. you need to have a car.
2. find your bank.
3. get a waiting number and later approach your teller.
Malaysian banks have machines that calculate your coins and voila you have your amount of coins confirmed (of course you need to count your own monies beforehand!) and you’re ready to get rid of it by leaving it up to the bank to deal with the heavy coins of all sorts. But here in Canada, it’s different… or to be more appropriate (and to be on the safe side cos I don’t want to get sued for defamation), in Fredericton, the banks here require you to be a responsible person to roll them up before handing it over to the bank to handle them.

This is the ready-made pieces of paper for you to roll up the coins. In a way, it’s good that they make ourselves do the hard work. I tell you, I tried rolling up the one cents… it really did drive me up the walls (first few times!). The Canadian one cent is as big as our Malaysian 10 cents coins. But their 10 cents is as big as our 5 cents! (I think my knuckles are feeling the aches now… ) How much do we need to put into a roll? Well, here it is…

They’re smart. There are already coin indicators printed on the piece of paper for you to follow already. Can we cheat them for a coin or two? Hmm, I don’t think so. I think eventually when you get it to the bank they are going to have it weigh… so I don’t think there’s a possibility for you cheaters to cheat. Hahaha! (Well, bibi thought of that… so I guess it’s not weird for some of us to think in a way, too.)

After spending quite some time counting the cents, grouped it together, tried to aligned them nicely on the piece of paper, tried rolling them up with much patience and swearing, I finally got it done. Now I know why the tellers won’t want to it. It’s not easy – especially when it comes to those super small coins. We Malaysians are certainly being pampered in such a way cos we have these kind of services at our local banks. :)
