Last week the weather was awesome, plenty of sun shining. I even noticed some grass starting to grow… Then came this week with the rain and the snow and the wind. Really cannot wait for the flowers to bloom again, for the heat to radiate and for the temperature to rise. Winter ain’t fun after a while.

aloe bloom?

Have you ever come across a statement or something saying that the aloe plant could actually have flowers growing from it? Frankly, this is the first time I came to know about this. But if it is true, then probably I have been pretty ignorant about this fact or that I have never come across it when I was busy digging up information from documentary shows or books. Seriously, I wasn’t aware of that fact until I came across theĀ  picture my brother took of the aloe vera plant our family had in a pot behind our house…

See… and looking at the picture, the stem must be pretty tall (I used the fence as the measurement). I think it must be around 2 to 3 feet tall. Eitherway, I’m not that sure myself cos I’m not there to be part of the time when the plant blooms. Hmm, probably I should call back home and ask mummy to buy Toto. Who knows it might really happen (hahaha… so ignorant). But I guess, most people would do the same if something like that happened. Or it could be just something ordinary… just like our bamboo plant could sprout beautiful flowers like the time I saw during this last Chinese New Year. :)
