I am a girl. And I like to make myself pretty. Cos I am a girl and that is what girls do.
And for this, sometimes I am glad that I am a girl because I get to make myself pretty and dress up when I feel like it – well, that is depending on the occasion, too. So, I’ll show some of my ‘assistants’ and tell you what they do.
Since this picture is clear enough, you could see clearly what I used.
The Face Shop – Colour Nuance for Cheek
I chose the one with the code BR803. I guess because of all the unwanted sun-bathing that I was forced to have during my days as an undergraduate, I opted for something not too light nor bright pinks else I would look weird with white pink puffed on both my cheeks. But I was surprised with the effect of this blush as it gave me a pink undertone, which I fell in love with so much. And I like the texture of this product too! Powdery until the very end. Well, there’s proof that I was using it till the metal below it is showing! Why do I still keep it? I just love it so much that even now I don’t use it anymore (cos I couldn’t get it in Fredericton as they only have in Canada West and I don’t think The Faceshop has online store – yet), I keep for the sake of the memory that it has been with me and I am definitely going to get some more of this when I have the chance.
Revlon Colour Stay – Mineral Finishing Powder
010 Brighten. Use it for highlighting your features that you want them to stand out. Especially the T-zone. The mineral powder gives a soft shimmer to your face and it has light reflective particles to give you a little of that glamorous subtle shimmer. Since I am naturally a very tanned person, I don’t need to use any tanning products. But for brightening my facial features, highlights are a vital step to give that glow to my face.
Estee Lauder Signature Blush – Silky Powder Blush
21 Peach Nuance. I love this product too. Don’t need to use much. I love the gradual transient of the colour from yellow to a nice peach red. Just like the skin of the peach.
From the picture above, you know what I meant. Giving you more dynamic colours to your blush palette and hence on your cheeks.
Bourjois Blush
95 Rose de Jaspe. It reminds me of Revlon’s blush pot a little. But I haven’t use that. At first I like how it felt – the powdery substance. After a while, it sort of like lose its fine powdery substance after a few usage. But I guess I am the one with the complaints. Hey, can’t blame for mentioning this after using other products that I find more satisfying. One good thing about this blush is that it’s handy to bring around and I do love how the colour pigments of this colour pot could offer you in its little chic pot.
Maybelline – Dream Mousse Blush
25 Rose Petal. Another rose coloured blush. A deeper shade of pink or some might say it has the tendency towards plum coloured. Anyways, what I like about this is the creamy texture that glides on your cheeky cheeks. For those who wants to have more natural looking flushed cheeks, this is one product that you should try. A little goes a long way. I like this because I can just apply this just using my fingers without having the need to have a blush brush.
